In the latest release from The Drinking Partners, Ed and Day welcome poet Fred “Fu” Underwood, creator and host of The Canvas of Words poetry series. Beginning June 25 at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, the series offers poets and visual artists an opportunity and audience where open dialogue is promoted and personal experiences shared. Encouraged by the Drinking Partners to recite some of his own work, Mr. Underwood drops lines with passionate ease and intellectual soulfulness.
